Life is short.
Take a second to be happy with what you're doing right now. Because it's going to go by fast. I haven't spoken about this much, but I recently just went to a funeral for a friend of mine who was hit by a car and killed.
I'm sitting there at the funeral with some of my old friends that I used to play hockey with. Some of them I literally hadn't seen in 18+ years. And you just think to yourself, "Where did all the time go?"
It's things like this that quickly put things into perspective. It quickly makes you realize how lucky you are to be alive and to be doing what you love to do.
Instead of always thinking "What's next," start appreciating what you have right now.
Because what's next could be nothing.
