Your coach is not your motivator.
You can be motivated by your coach, but it's not their job to motivate you. Their job is to coach you.
You have to be your own engine, not your coach. You might not have the same coach forever or your coach may stop coaching. You can't focus on the external motivators because these change over time.
It's on you to figure out what internal motivates you. Bottom line: don't rely on anyone or anything to motivate you.
