Your way is the best way, for now.
You must believe that your way of training is the best way for YOU. That way should be the way that gets you the most strong. If the way that you're training is getting you stronger, then why would you train any other way?
That being said... you need to understand that things are going to change, you're going to learn new stuff, and people are going to show you new things. For example, how I program for Trigger Warning now isn't the same way I programmed a year ago.
It's not that one point in time is better than the other. I was working with the information I had at that particular time. It's a constant evolution based on experience and trial & error to see what works best.
