Never stop learning
One of the biggest mistakes coaches, gym owners, and even lifters make is thinking they've got it all figured out.
If you're always the smartest person in the room, that's usually going to become a problem.
You should constantly be putting yourself around people who challenge how you think. You should leave seminars, conversations, and training sessions saying:
"I've never thought about it that way."
"That's an interesting perspective."
"I'm going to try that."
That's how you grow and not get stuck into thinking you know everything.
Because no one knows everything. The best coaches I've met are always learning, asking questions, reading, and evolving. They're not afraid to admit they don't know something.
If you're serious about getting better, keep seeking new information. Because you've never arrived.
