Is it you or the program?
If everyone in your training group is cutting their squats high, that's something you need to address as a group.
If everyone else is hitting depth and you're the only one cutting them high, that's a different conversation.
The same idea applies to more than just squat depth. When something isn't working in training, is it the group or just you?
If it's one person, look inward
If you're the only person in the group who isn't doing well while everyone else is progressing, start by looking at yourself.
What boxes are you checking... and which ones aren't you checking?
If the programming, coaching, and method are producing results for the rest of the group, there's a good chance the problem isn't the system.
Before blaming the program, take a look at what you're doing differently.
If it's everyone, look at the system
If the entire training group is struggling with the same thing or isn't progressing, you can't just tell everyone they need to work harder.
At that point, it's time to look at the bigger picture.
Is it the programming? The coaching? The method?
When the same problem keeps showing up across the entire group, it's time to go back to the drawing board, figure out what's going on, and make the necessary changes.
Don't automatically blame yourself. Don't automatically blame the program. Look at what's actually happening.
