KNEE RECOVERY UPDATE
The first MRI came back with some good news: no ligament or tendon tears, no meniscus damage, and no bone bruising or breaks. I’m about 15-20 degrees away from fully straightening my leg, and I’ve been using voodoo floss bands to help with my range of motion. The ACL tear is still on the table since the swelling makes it hard to tell, but I’m staying positive.
Right now, I’m focused on loosening up my hamstring and calf, flushing the blood in and out, and working on getting the swelling down. It’s all about being patient while trying to regain range of motion without losing the strength I still have. I’m not stressed, but I want to know what’s going on so I can set a plan in motion.
Even with this setback, I’d still do it again in a heartbeat. I was swinging for something I’ve never done before, and I wouldn’t change that for anything.
