Be so good you don't need a caveat.
Everyone knows these people. "I squatted this, but I had this going on. I accomplished this, but I also had this going on."
There's always an asterisk. There's always a caveat. They're always explaining why it wasn't really really good, but just kind of good.
Don't be that person. Simply focus on being so good at whatever it is that you're doing that you DON'T need one of those.
You say what happened, and what happened, is good enough.
