Get THAT good.
You know when powerlifters talk about their attempt selection for their upcoming meet? They may say something like, "I wanna open with this, so I can take this second so I can get two shots at getting it."
And sometimes that's the move.
But I don't think you should be setting yourself up to take a weight twice just IN CASE you mess something up.
My suggestion? Get good enough so you don't need two attempts.
This goes beyond the walls of the gym. Business, relationships, etc. This concept applies everywhere.
