It’s YOUR Fault. OWN It.

Sometimes the situation you’re in is your fault.

Not always. But a lot of the time it is.

Your pain, your mistakes, your setbacks... those belong to you. And when that’s the case, you have to take it on the chin and eat that shit. That’s part of being accountable.

The problem today is that people want to spread that pain everywhere else. They dump their frustration, anger, and problems on the people around them. Emotional, physical, whatever trauma they’re carrying — it gets “puked” onto everyone else in the room.

That’s not how it works.

You can ask for help. You should ask for help when you need it. But at the end of the day it’s still your responsibility to own it and deal with it.

Every day is a test. A test to see if you can handle what’s in front of you and make it to the next day.

So take responsibility for where you are. Handle your problems. And keep putting one foot in front of the other.
