Lean into the positive.
Yeah, it feels good in the moment to say “F that mother******.” To pop off. To vent. And while that might feel like a release, it’s a short-term win that doesn’t actually help anyone — especially not you.
What actually works is focusing on the people you can build up. The people around you that are trying. That are showing up. That need encouragement, not critique. You ever watch a postgame interview and immediately tell who the real leader is? The one who hypes up their teammate instead of throwing someone under the bus?
That’s what we’re talking about here.
Be that kind of person — the one who lifts, not the one who cuts. Especially when it’s hard. Especially when you’re frustrated. Because long-term, choosing to build is what truly creates impact.
